A Kentucky State Festivals Prelim
​August 26th, 2023 at west irvine elementary

Entry fee: $50

Age Divisions:
  • Baby Miss 0-23 months
  • Tiny Miss- 2-4 years
  • Little Miss 5-7 years
  • Little Mister 5-7 years 
  • Pre-Teen 8-12 Years
  • Teen 13-15 years
  • Miss 16-21 years

​Winners (Queen, Princess, Duchess) in all age divisions will be expected to attend the Ravenna Railroad Festival on September 9th and are eligible to advance to state.

Side Awards will be given in each division. These are included with the entry fee. They will be:
  • Rising Stars
  • Prettiest Smile
  • Best Dressed
  • Best Personality
  • Best Interview (on stage)

People's Choice:
All contestants are asked to make and/or decorate your own jar, box, or container of some sort. You can ask friends, family, businesses, etc. to donate $1 per vote to vote for you for the People’s Choice winner! The contestant who collects the most votes will be named the Peoples Choice Miss Railroad Festival 2023! Winner will received a crown, sash and gift! Winner will also win a bid to the Ky State Festivals Pageant. 
(All donations will benefit the Ravenna Railroad Festival.)

Most Photogenic:
This is an optional entry. Contestants can pay $10 to submit a single photo or $20 to submit 3. Please bring photos on the day of the competition for judging. Contestants will compete against others in their own age group.

Attire:
Formal attire is your choice of any long appropriate dress.  Cupcake Dresses are fine for Little Miss and under. We are just looking at the dresses being age appropriate for the contestant. Sunday Best to semi-glitz for little miss only. You will compete individually first and then come back out for comparative judging.  Contestants will do their introduction and have an on-stage question. Little Miss contestants choosing to wear formal attire will not score any different versus a contestant wearing Sunday best. 

This is a natural to semi-glitz pageant. For ages 0-7 we prefer no make-up but it can be light (powder, mascara, clear lip-gloss). For ages 8+ anything goes.
 Admission: $5 per person over the age of 5. Pay cash at the door or click here for advance tickets.
